Georgina’s consulting portfolio includes acting as the Secretariat for an Independent Review Panel that considers applications for data access through clinical data sharing platforms (ClinicalStudyDataRequest.com and Vivli) and supporting Research Consulting in an associate capacity, bringing specialist expertise in the management and sharing of clinical research data. In a previous role at HDR UK she managed the Grand Challenge ICODA projects working directly with researchers to enable their secondary data analyses and maximise the impact and uptake of their findings. Whilst working within the Open Research team at Wellcome she led the development and implementation of the Trust’s clinical trial and data sharing policies, including transparency of results reporting and encouraging data sharing and re-use to maximise the impact of research on improving human health. Since 2019 she has been a Board Director of ISRCTN (UK clinical trial registry) and is a member of the Health Research Authority ‘Make it public’ transparency group.
